Initiated in 2000, this marks the 11th year that the IIFA awards have captivated viewers across the world. 2011 also marks yet another year in which RDB & Nindy Kaur both played an integral part in bringing awareness towards the IIFA awards.

Since Nindy Kaur’s Bollywood debut with the tracks Aloo Chaat and Boliyaan, she’s made an impact on the worldwide music industry. Her dedicated efforts in bringing Punjabi music to the masses via Bollywood have led to immediate success. Not only is she part of an internationally acclaimed music group, RDB, but she’s also created quite the name for herself as an artist; and this is all because of her dedication as a singer and passion towards music, giving her the much deserved credibility. Nindy Kaur kicked off the awards weekend with the IIFA Brampton Buzz parade, alongside Bollywood bombshell Bipasha Basu and an exclusive & worldwide performance at IIFA Rocks. The IIFA Rocks performance was a major steppingstone for Nindy Kaur as she debuted her forthcoming single 2 Seater, in front of 10,000 guests and 60 million television viewers. The crowd was continuous chanting Nindy Kaur, and were screaming wildly at the end of her performance.

The entire weekend was a success for the entire RDB team, especially Nindy Kaur. They mingled with the stars, such as Zayed Khan. Other Bollywood personalities in attendance were Anushka Sharma, Shahrukh Khan, in addition to Hollywood blockbuster actors Hillary Swank and Cuba Gooding Jr.

In a press conference, Swank stated, “…Bollywood has been bringing two worlds together. It’s a great thing. I believe in the motto of one world, one people. India has always held a very special place in my heart.” Gooding also added, “I am bowled over today with the power of Indian films across the globe. I would love to do a role in a Bollywood film myself, and maybe dance a little.”

Nindy Kaur looked stunning as she walked down the red carpet during the IIFA awards as Shirley Wu Beauty Concepts provided Nindy’s hair and make-up.

“Being part of IIFA and sharing my music with the world on such a large platform has been a blessing. The fans have been eagerly awaiting this track and I’m so pleased I was able to perform it for them,” Nindy Kaur stated.
