Nindy Kaur Set To Release Second Single, 2 Seater
Toronto, Canada – With the much anticipated success of her debut single, Akhian, Nindy Kaur is now ready for the worldwide release of her second single, 2 Seater. The track has already made a worldwide impact as Nindy Kaur debuted the song to over 10,000 guests and 60 million television viewers during her IIFA Rocks performance.
Since Nindy Kaur made her mark into the Punjabi music scene, she has established strong grounds as a playback singer in Bollywood and credibility as a fashionista, as she’s also launching her own clothing line this summer. With the long awaited release of her debut album, NINDYPENDENT, music enthusiasts are eager to hear what the buzz is behind 2 Seater. The video was shot at Guvernment Night Club in Toronto, directed by Jason Matos, and produced by RDB. 2 Seater will be released to all TV and media on July 14th, 2011 and the song will be available for download on iTunes and RDB’s site on July 21st. Nindy Kaur’s debut album, NINDYPENDENT, and her clothing line are both set to release this summer. For the video, Shirley Wu & Maggie Wu of Beauty Concepts provided Nindy Kaur’s impeccable style and wardrobe.

Nindy Kaur Wraps up IIFA
Toronto, Canada – The International Indian Film Academy Awards [IIFA] is one of the most prestigious award ceremonies, honoring the best in Bollywood’s film industry. Initiated in 2000, this marks the 11th year that the IIFA awards have captivated viewers across the world. 2011 also marks yet another year in which RDB & Nindy Kaur both played an integral part in bringing awareness towards the IIFA awards.
Since Nindy Kaur’s Bollywood debut with the tracks Aloo Chaat and Boliyaan, she’s made an impact on the worldwide music industry. Her dedicated efforts in bringing Punjabi music to the masses via Bollywood have led to immediate success. Not only is she part of an internationally acclaimed music group, RDB, but she’s also created quite the name for herself as an artist; and this is all because of her dedication as a singer and passion towards music, giving her the much deserved credibility. People have been watching her strides and taking note of her popularity; in turn this determined her to be named a Brand Ambassadors for IIFA.
Nindy Kaur kicked off the awards weekend with the IIFA Brampton Buzz parade, alongside Bollywood bombshell Bipasha Basu and an exclusive & worldwide performance at IIFA Rocks. The IIFA Rocks performance was a major steppingstone for Nindy Kaur as she debuted her forthcoming single 2 Seater, in front of 10,000 guests and 60 million television viewers. The crowd was continuous chanting Nindy Kaur, and were screaming wildly at the end of her performance.
The entire weekend was a success for the entire RDB team, especially Nindy Kaur. They mingled with the stars, such as Zayed Khan. Other Bollywood personalities in attendance were Anushka Sharma, Shahrukh Khan, in addition to Hollywood blockbuster actors Hillary Swank and Cuba Gooding Jr.
In a press conference, Swank stated, “…Bollywood has been bringing two worlds together. It’s a great thing. I believe in the motto of one world, one people. India has always held a very special place in my heart.” Gooding also added, “I am bowled over today with the power of Indian films across the globe. I would love to do a role in a Bollywood film myself, and maybe dance a little.”
Nindy Kaur looked stunning as she walked down the red carpet during the IIFA awards as Shirley Wu Beauty Concepts provided Nindy’s hair and make-up.
“Being part of IIFA and sharing my music with the world on such a large platform has been a blessing. The fans have been eagerly awaiting this track and I’m so pleased I was able to perform it for them,” Nindy Kaur stated.
And the coming days get even more interesting for Nindy Kaur and the entire RDB team as the long awaited single, 2 Seater, will be releasing worldwide. Nindy Kaur & Bipasha Basu Kick-Off IIFA Awards Toronto
Toronto, Canada – June 17-19, 2011 was the official kick-off for IIFA in Toronto. Bollywood’s smash-hit sensation Nindy Kaur and internationally applauded musical group RDB were named as the Brand Ambassadors for IIFA Buzz Brampton. To make the event more of a hit, the group personally invited Bollywood bombshell Bipasha Basu to attend, turning the weekend’s festivities into a star-studded gala.
Brampton’s Mayor, Susan Fennell, awarded Nindy Kaur with a Walk Of Fame and a plaque for the amazing job she did to bring more awareness towards IIFA Brampton Buzz. Brampton’s mainstream TV stations such as CBC, City TV and ET Canada all captured Nindy Kaur on interview, alongside RDB. During Saturday’s parade, Nindy Kaur, RDB & Bipasha Basu all traveled on a floating stage through the city of Brampton. Fans were so excited to see Kaur and Basu that the two had to be escorted by police to a safer area.
Kaur and Basu have established a strong friendship; so fans, look out for future collaborations of the two. When asked about their friendship, Kaur stated, “…she (Bipasha) has become more like family. We had a great time catching up during IIFA Brampton Buzz and are already making plans to meet soon. She’s charming and a good person.”
On June 24th and 25th, Nindy Kaur will be walking down the green carpet for IIFA Rocks at Rico Coliseum and the IIFA Awards at the Rogers Centre. To make it a more special night for Kaur and RDB, she will be performing a world premiere of her #1 single off her highly anticipated album, Nindypendent, entitled 2 Seater. The performance will take place during IIFA Rocks with a host of amazing hip-hop dancers, dholis and special effects in front of 10,000 people and televised by Sony Television to 60 million viewers.
“I’m looking forward to this opportunity,” Kaur stated. “The persons behind IIFA Rocks have been so great in the ideas we had behind this performance and the entire set. It’s going to blow the fans away and everyone across the world is going to be able to hear 2 Seater at the same time. It’s an indescribable feeling!”

Brampton ON, June 8, 2011: The City brings home a piece of the silver screen with IIFA Buzz Brampton next weekend. Sultry Bolywood beauty Bipasha Basu and the city’s entertainment brand ambassadors RDB & NINDY KAUR promise to up the summer heat in true Bollywood style.
On June 17th the city of Brampton will kick‐off a host of entertainment features to celebrate the Indian Film Academy Awards being held in North America for the first time ever. As one of the host cities, Brampton will celebrate all things South Asian during the three‐day long festivities. “This is a once‐in‐a‐lifetime weekend in our community,” says Mayor Susan Fennell. “We have never hosted a full weekend of activities that solely promotes the best of South Asian entertainment and culture. There will be something for everyone to enjoy in downtown Brampton on that weekend.”
On Friday, June 17th, Bipasha Basu will participate in a special Walk of Fame ceremony to initiate the celebrations. The Bollywood actress will also be a part of Brampton’s Flower City parade on Saturday, June 18th with Brampton’s very own and world‐renowned music mavericks RDB (Manj, and vocalist Nindy Kaur) who as brand ambassadors have personally invited Bipasha to Brampton.

UK/Canadian group RDB (Rhythm, Dhol, Bass) was established by brothers Kuly, Manj and Surj who bring together different musical styles and fuse them with Punjabi folk music to create the “RDB sound”. Bipasha Basu is a popular Indian film actress with a strong portfolio of Hindi films both mainstream and critically acclaimed art cinema. The sultry Bengali beauty made her film debut in Abbas Mustan’s Ajnabee, with Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol and Kareena Kapoor, and also won an award for her performance.
